High Voltage is working on Conduit for 3DS

High Voltage is busy bringing over their engine to the 3DS and they say that the results are “very good.” Chief creative officer Eric Nofsinger told Eurogamer that they’d have something close to Conduit 2 on the 3DS by the time GDC rolls around.

“We’ve got environments from this already up and running around. You can shoot, you can select different weapons and you can see enemies. It runs pretty darn well with full 3D and everything.”

High Voltage is also jazzed about the improved Friend Code system for the 3DS. Nofsinger is hoping for true handheld online multiplayer this time around.

With the respectable power under the hood of the 3DS and the improved Friend Code system, a new Conduit for 3DS sounds like it could be something to look forward to.
