Good news: Titanfall beta opening up to all players

Beta will be extended by a day as well

Yesterday Titanfall experienced some down time during the closed beta period. That, coupled with a lot of codes that were apparently never delivered by EA has triggered Respawn’s Vince Zampella to turn this closed beta into an open one.

Starting tonight, Xbox One users will be able to jump into the Titanfall beta through the new game demos section, followed by PC users tomorrow. In a Tweet tonight, Vince quoted developer Jon Shiring who stated “Let’s break it,” in regards to opening up access to everyone.

Vince expects that the servers should hold up fine, and at worst case there will be some delays finding servers during peak times. The beta will be extended by at least a day now too, so you’ll have until February 18 to play.

So good news for all! This will especially help Respawn stress test the servers before the game is released March 11. Check out our Titanfall tips guide to get the edge up on others before you jump in while you’re at it.
