Microsoft: Buy one already, America
Microsoft is making one last push to get Xbox Ones into the living room for Christmas, as it launches sales across various retailers. Most are offering an additional $50 gift card when you grab an Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle.
Target is one-upping everyone else, though, and offering a $70 gift card instead. In terms of value, this best matches the deals available during Black Friday weekend – and if you have one of those Target store cards, that’s another 5% off.
Here are all the current Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle deals from various retailers:
- Best Buy: $50 gift card + free copy of Destiny (new deal)
- Target: $70 gift card
- Microsoft Store: $50 gift card
- Amazon: $50 credit
- GameStop: $50 gift card
- Meijer: Choice of free game
- Toys”R”Us: Free Xbox One controller
- Newegg: One year of Xbox Live Gold + $20 gift card
You’ll notice that Meijer, Toys ‘R’ Us, and NewEgg deviate a bit from the rest by offering something besides gift cards. In terms of value, we’d say the Target and NewEgg deals are the best of the bunch.
With the way things are going, we honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the “temporary” holiday price of $349.99 on the Xbox One shows up again early next year.
Update: Target’s deal is now kaput while Best Buy has added a free copy of Destiny to their offer.
