The Black Eyed Peas and I go way back. Once upon a time, a friend and I were waiting in a train station an hour’s ride from Paris. We were sat outside of a café in the terminal, waiting for our delayed train to take us into the city. We had big plans for the day, but spent our morning listening to the coffee house play “My Humps” on repeat for over an hour. Why that was necessary, I have no idea. But, needless to say, the lyrics were seared into our brains.
We spent the afternoon at Euro Disney. Being winter, the park was virtually abandoned, leaving us to run around on the icy paths, screaming the lyrics at one another all day long. It must have been quite a sight, two white dudes singing about their curvy assets (whilst being shot out of a Jules Verne-inspired cannon to the moon) on a snowy day at the “Happiest Place on Earth.” The three other people at the park must have been quite amused. Noisy Americans? The French have only themselves to blame.
Anyway, I guess there’s this thing called The Black Eyed Peas Experience coming out next week for the Wii and Kinect. I’m sure you’re all foaming at the mouth. November 8th can’t come soon enough! Finally a new Wii game! But in the meantime… I’ma get, get, get, get you drunk. Get you love drunk off my hump. My hump, my hump, my lovely little lumps. Check it out.
