GC 09: Total War becoming more story driven with ‘Napoleon’

Creative Assembly’s Total War franchise has always been about large-scale battles, but the latest in the long line of strategy games is going for a more personal approach. Napoleon: Total War retells the French general’s battles in Italy, Egypt, and Moscow from both his point of view as well as his opponent’s.

This of course means you could theoretically rewrite history, which is always a cool thought. The game won’t be ready until February of next year, so for now, all we’re getting is a teaser, albeit a badass one. Hit the jump for the video, or check out the gallery for three in-game screenshots.
