Game Informer’s video game vault is quite the sight to behold

Game Informer may be a competing outlet, but it’s also a relic of the video game industry — a relic that’s very much still relevant. Those dudes have been around for a long time. They’ve seen a lot of stuff. That should be celebrated.

Starting way back in 1991, Game Informer started collecting the games that it got a hold of. It’s still doing that. 25 years later and it has 12,000-some games stashed away.

Take three minutes to virtually tour Game Informer’s vault. It’s a neat look at some of the best archivists the video game industry has — even if they didn’t keep all of those big PC boxes.
