Game with the Dtoid community
Happy Friday!
There are two distinct things that gamer’s seem to love, the first is gaming (obviously). The second, is watching / participating in live streams of whichever game they may be playing or interested in at any given moment. This is great news for everyone here at Destructoid, since we are announcing the glorious return of one of our most popular features ever, Streamtoid.
That’s right, Streamtoid is making a triumphant return to Destructoid, and we couldn’t be happier.
This is your chance, to get to know the community that much better. Shadow, who also happens to help run the Team Fortress 2sdays posts, has been an integral part of getting this great feature going again, and he has put together a blog over in our community section with all the Streamtoid details. I highly recommend everyone interested in being involved with Streamtoid to give it a read.
Now, let’s get to the reason why you came here in the first place, the games…
New to FNF? Read this! Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It’s a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!
The planning for FNF starts in the forums, where community members sign up to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Then, every Friday, reminder posts go up in the community blogs thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers, and I recap it all here on the front page to give it a bit more exposure.
To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! If you’d rather host something yourself, sound off in the comments section below!
