Today’s iPhone freebie, courtesy of FreeAppADay, is the somewhat popular Diablo clone Underworlds. Take control of a lone warrior, head into the crypts, and kick the crap out skellingtons in return for fat wads of gold and loot. Sound good? Even if it doesn’t, you can’t argue with free.
The game’s pretty damn hard, and I’ve already found myself cornered by ghouls without enough health potions to see me through. If that gets you off, then this will probably be the game for you. Be warned that the controls are a little janky, but the Diablo-style gameplay is decent enough and the production values are high.
It’s free. Download it. Or not. Up to you, really.
