Chapter 7 Season 3 brings plenty of new Sprites to discover in Fortnite, and some of them offer game-changing abilities. Some of these abilities will significantly raise your chances of success on the island. But beware, others are not as useful as you might think.
This guide will help you understand how every Sprite works and which are the top choices.
Complete Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Sprites tier list
I have used three tiers to differentiate between the available Sprites. I have also ranked them based on the standard variant. Gold variants will offer more experience, so you should always use them if possible.
- S-tier Sprites are the best possible choices in the current meta.
- A-tier choices are suitable alternatives to S-tier options. However, their abilities are slightly weaker or more situational.
- B-tier choices are poor options. Their in-game abilities aren’t strong enough to be considered in the current meta.
S-tier

| Sprite | Effect | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Demon Sprite | Grants shields and health upon eliminations | The Demon Sprite suits all types of players due to its powerful ability. Whenever you eliminate someone, you’ll get extra shields and health. This can be crucial in the late game when you’re engaged in gunfights. The recovery amount rises when you level up the Sprite. |
| Ghost Sprite | Grants cloak for a duration upon reloading | Whenever you reload, you’ll become invisible for a short window. This can be a game-changer in an intense gunfight. |
| Zero Point Sprite | Spawn a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use a healing item on yourself | Whenever you heal during a fight, the Sprite will generate an extra shield to absorb damage. You can rely on the shield to heal and then recharge your shields if required. |
A-tier

| Sprite | Effect | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Punk Sprite | Offers random items and a small chance at getting infinite ammo | While this Sprite offers some great freebies, it’s RNG-based. Hence, you might end up with an item that you don’t need. Having infinite ammo is always useful, but it’s not guaranteed. |
| Duck Sprite | Grants shields when you’re emoting or jamming | You can regain shields by simply jamming or emoting. This works well when you can actually get a cap to emote. Not the most practical in a tense end-game fight, however. |
| Earth Sprite | Higher chances of getting rare loot from chests | This is perhaps the best starting Sprite to pick. You’ll have a better chance of finding rarer items and powering up quicker. |
| Burnt Peanut Sprite | Offers a chance to find extra loot after eliminating someone | The Sprite offers you a 20 percent chance to get extra loot when you eliminate someone. The rate goes up when you level up the Sprite. This is the rarest Sprite to find, which is also a contributing factor to this being in A-tier. |
B-tier
| Sprite | Effect | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| King Sprite | Boosts Pickaxe damage | Not much use to this one, I’m afraid (unless you want to run at everyone with the Pickaxe trying to clobber them). |
| Dream Sprite | Get extra loot every time you level up | The extra loot is nice, but the requirement isn’t. The Sprite also works only when you level it up, and the perks it provides aren’t unique. |
| Water Sprite | Generates shields when you’re standing in water | Standing anywhere in Fortnite is a bad choice. Doing that when you might be taking fire isn’t a great idea. |
| Fire Sprite | Creates something fiery when you damage enemies | You get a ring of fire when attacking an enemy, but the chances are that you will also get burnt. |
