There are five side quests to start in Junon, with a sixth available in later chapters. Of the five side quests, only Stuck in a Rut is available immediately upon entering Junon. Immediately upon entering the Junon Region you will see the four Activation Intel Towers. They are indicated by the yellow tower icon on your region map. Each of these towers will highlight other points of interest and Intel in the area around the tower. I recommend visiting all of these Remnawave Towers as soon as possible as it allows you to create a gameplan for how to navigate the region.

Activation Intel 1: Seabreeze Tower

The first Activation Intel, Seabreeze Tower, highlights three nearby points of interest.

Activation Intel 2: Buffeted Cape Tower

As you head south into Junon, you’ll encounter the Buffeted Cape Tower. Activating the tower reveals just a single point of interest.

Activation Intel 3: Batteryhill Tower

Just to the east of the previous tower lies the Batteryhill Tower. Activating this tower unveils three points of interest.

While Piko the Chocobo is great, you’re going to need to make use of a new Chocobo with new skills in Junon. That’s where Belle the Chocobo comes into play. Belle is able to climb up and down specific walls to access otherwise inaccessible areas of Junon. Here is where and how to capture Belle the Chocobo.

Moogle Intel: Mariner Moogle

Just like the previous Moogle Intel, you’ll need to visit this point of interest and round up the five Mooglet’s into the Moogle Emporium. It’s pretty easy, just make sure to avoid their tricks as you corral them into the middle fenced in Mogstool

Unlocks: Merchant Rank 2 of Moogle Emporium

Junon Region Intel: Lifesprings

Expedition Intel 1: Chocobluff Lifespring

Unlocks: Region Intel: The Rise and Fall of the Republic of Junon
