FC 27‘s first major update, Title Update v1.1, is coming soon to all platforms, and it will include plenty of changes. While there are no gameplay tweaks, we can still expect to see different results.
Let’s find out all the major changes coming to FC 27 as part of the title update.
Complete FC 27 Title Update v1.1 patch notes
Despite not having any gameplay changes, the title update will affect Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and The Grounds.
Career Mode
Here are the main highlights of the changes coming to Career Mode.
- Visual updates to the Team Management UI based on player feedback. This involves an overhauled Team Management layout across multiple modes that offers better readability and navigation.
- New settings to adjust the frequency of Unexpected Events and Press Conferences. This allows you to make your save more challenging (or relaxing).
- Two new Rivalry objectives in the form of Consistency and Rivalry.
- Improvements to player transfers and negotiation. You’ll get clear explanations from a club or player if they reject their offer.
The Career Mode will also receive plenty of general changes. All the improvements will be available once the patch goes live.

Ultimate Team
- Pack opening will be shortened for most higher OVR items. This change has been introduced based on feedback from the closed beta.
- Streamlined SBCs will have filters and sorting settings that will be remembered across different challenges until you close the game.
- Plenty of bug fixes that addressed genuine concerns, like updated referee kits and more.
Gameplay
While there will be no changes in the gameplay balance and tuning, there will be plenty of bug fixes.
- Fixed an issue where players could become permanently stuck and unable to progress during the tutorial.
- Fixed an issue in 2v2 matches where players could get stuck inside the goal net after performing slide tackle attempts near the goal line.
- Fixed an issue in 1v1 matches where goalkeepers would hold onto the ball for too long after a player requested a pass.
- Fixed an issue in 3v3 Kickabouts where a long button press pass would occasionally result in players directing the ball into their own goal.
- Fixed an issue where post-play cutscenes would happen too frequently in situations where a standard replay should have been shown instead.
