There’s a maintenance coming soon for FC 26, and the servers will be taken down temporarily by EA Sports. As a result, you’ll be unable to enjoy the online modes as long as the maintenance is active.
Thankfully, the developers have announced when the servers will be restored.
FC 26 server maintenance details (Sept. 9)
The server maintenance will begin at 1am PDT/3am CDT/4am EDT/8am UTC/9am BST according to EA Sports. However, matchmaking will be disabled 30 mins before the start of the maintenance. Once matchmaking gets disabled, you’ll end up with an error whenever you try to find a game.
Thankfully, today’s maintenance appears to be quite short. Unless there’s a delay, today’s maintenance will last for an hour and end at 2am PDT/4am CDT/5am EDT/9am UTC/10am BST. However, a delay can always happen, so be aware of that.
As I mentioned, all modes that require online matchmaking will be out of order. This includes all modes of Ultimate Team, but Web App will be available for you to use. You can solve SBCs to try to find 99-rated items with the endgame currently active in Ultimate Team.
Alternatively, you can always try out playing the Manager mode and complete different objectives. Finishing the current season pass also gets you carry over rewards that you can use in FC 27 if you plan to play the next instalment.
Hopefully, there won’t be any delays in today’s maintenance so that we can return to the endgame grind.
