FarmVille remains popular, more than 80 million users

Zynga Games’ FarmVille continues to grow despite its age. New statistics from All Facebook.com indicate that the Facebook game is “about to surpass” the 80 million active monthly user mark — a growth of 10 million since December. A quick glance at AppData.com tells us that (a) line graphs are boring and (b) confirms that FarmVille broke the 80 million barrier this afternoon.

We’re having a hard time thinking about this staggering number. Imagine having sixteen graham crackers sitting in front you. Triple that. Triple it again and see the wobbly tower that forms. Now think 80 million graham crackers, and then, imagine those graham crackers as old women in front of computers. Staggering!
