Fans of Puzzle Bobble rip-off Snood will be thrilled to learn that it has found new life.
Ex-Naughty Dog founders Jason Rubin and Andrew Gavin have teamed up with Jason Kay (founder of web app Flektor, which was shut down in January) to form a casual company called (wait for it) Monkey Gods. The company is saying it will focus on distributing games on social networks, the iPhone, and game consoles like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. The first announced titles are the aforementioned Snood for the iPhone, and a multiplayer word game called Monkwerks.
So yeah. Snood. It’ll be available on Apple’s App Store on June 1. You know you want it.
