Once you start getting your build ready for the late game in Aion 2, you’ll notice something called Clash Runes in your gear slots. They’re the bottom two slots, and it’s easy to think that they’re not that important.
However, this couldn’t have been further from the truth as you try to take your item levels past the Level 1,000 threshold, and they’re not very common to obtain.

How to get Clash Runes in Aion 2
The main way to get clash rooms as a beginner is through regional quests. We’ll find them both at Altgard and Verteron (depends on your choice of faction). The table below has information about all the quests that will give you these clash runes. You will also get bonus rewards by completing them, along with the runes.

While regional quests are limited, you can get more Clash Runes once you hit item level 1000. Once you hit the mark, you’ll unlock the Nightmare mode. You can farm the solo boss arena to get Phantasmal Fragments at every level.
How to use Clash Runes in Aion 2
Their usage scenario is relatively simple, since you can just equip them in the slots. Once equipped, their in-game effects will activate. Here are the boosts you will get from them.
- PvE Damage Tolerance: +0.5%
- PvE Damage Boost: +0.5%
- Penetration: +100
- Combat Speed: +1%
- Multi-Hit Chance: +1%
While the numbers might seem small at first, you can improve it by enhancing the Runes. However, all enhancements at +3 and beyond have a chance to fail. If that happens, you’ll destroy the Rune.
