E3 10: Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater coming to the 3DS

As part of their press conference this morning, Nintendo revealed what appears to be a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, originally for the PlayStation 2. Bearing an almost identical title, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, the game will be coming to their new 3DS handheld at some point in the future.

Like a lot of the 3DS games announced so far, no specifics were given, not even a general release window. We do, however, have some screens for you in the gallery below — take a look. It may end up being a separate story rather than a remake, but those screens look awfully familiar…
