Dota 2 gets a new update, and the Elder Titan character

ET emerges

Dota 2 keeps on chugging, as a new update has added some minor fixes, sound updates, and tournament improvements, as well as a brand new character — the Elder Titan (Tauren Chieftan). He’s a character based around the concept of an Ancestral Spirit, who will mimic his movements and damage enemies he comes in contact with.

It’ll be interesting to see how Dota 2 fares against League of Legends in the future. LoL has built quite the formidable fanbase over the past few years, but Dota 2 is quickly gaining popularity, and smashing Steam records.

Either way, as a MOBA fan for nearly a decade now (wow, DotA is about ten years old, guys), I’m happy that the sub-genre has been able to thrive like this.
