Now available after release
Doom has landed and it’s actually doing well in the user review department, despite Bethesda holding back review copies. The game is currently sitting at 94 percent positive rating on Steam. If you’re planning to pick up a copy to play on release day, we’ve spotted some new deals.
- Doom Season Pass (Steam) — $31.99 (list price $40) <- code: DEALZON20
- Doom Standard Edition (Steam) — $48 (list price $60)
- Doom Digital Deluxe Edition (Steam) — $79.98 (list price $100) <- OOS?
Use Code: EMCEJFH69
- Doom PS4 — $44.99 (list price $60)
- Doom Xbox One — $44.99 (list price $60)
- Doom PC Disc — $44.99 (list price $60)
FYI: None of the season pass content is out yet (duh). The three multiplayer packs it contains will release later this year, but have not had their release dates announced yet (nor many specifics).
The three packs will cost $14.99 a piece, which adds up to $45 for all three if you buy individually. That saves you $5 getting all three in the season pass for $39.99. Using the 20 percent off code above will let you pick the pass for $32 ($10.66 for each pack). If you opt for the Digital Deluxe, you’ll be receiving a similar percentage discount but there’s nothing else special as it’s just the base game with the season pass bundled.
Finally, there are some pretty hot deals that appeared on NewEgg today for the Standard Edition for Doom on all platforms. A new 25 percent off coupon code was launched today, and it’ll be good through May 19. These are physical copies that you’ll have to wait on, but at least the savings will ease the lack of day-one gaming.
