Disney Dreamlight Valley gets a temporary fix for Oswald’s 3D glasses bug

A full fix is on the way

As part of Oswald’s Many Dimensions questline, which allows you to build the lucky rabbit’s house in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will need to purchase 3D glasses to relocate the house into the next dimension. However, these 3D glasses are causing some issues.

Unfortunately, some players are facing an issue with these glasses becoming available before the quest. This shouldn’t be a problem, but if these glasses are purchased before the quest prompts, they cannot be purchased again and the game doesn’t recognize that they’ve already been purchased, therefore halting quest progress.

Gameloft has issued a temporary fix for this issue and those who have already encountered this issue will now find themselves boosted to the next stage of the quest upon logging in. This is great news, however, it isn’t a total fix for the initial issue, which the dev team says they are actively working on.

At the time of writing, the bug is still present, and Gameloft urges players not to buy the 3D glasses until prompted to do so by the Oswald’s Many Dimensions quest, even if they’re available from Scrooge before that point.

According to the Disney Dreamlight Valley issue tracking board on Trello, this bug in the Thrills and Frills update is not alone. There’s another where the Mechanical Parts recipe (necessary for completing the An Alarming Development quest) doesn’t show up in the crafting menu as it should, though it does unlock upon gathering the necessary parts.
