Destruction at its finest: a Battlefield: Bad Company developer diary

Recommended Videos

Departing from the comedic approach of the last Battlefield: Bad Company trailer, the above video is a developer diary with a clear message: blowing stuff up is good ol’ fashioned fun.

Tired of being inconvenienced by annoying buildings that always seem to get in the way at the worst possible time? Why should you have to go through the trouble of traveling around said barrier when a much better solution is at your disposal — blowing the damn thing to smithereens!

This is BF: Bad Company‘s approach to pretty much everything and I can certainly dig it. I’ve yet to be dazzled by this generation’s destructible environments outside of maybe Crysis (which I can’t even fully enjoy for obvious reasons), so that’s one void I’d definitely like filled, and the next Battlefield title may be just the game to do so.
