Starts next month

Activision has revealed the dates for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta, which the PS4 platform will be getting first. It will run on August 19 until August 23 for PS4 users, then August 26 through the 30th for Xbox One and PC.

The beta will be multiplayer-only, and will feature the new movement system, fixed classes, and several maps and modes. More details will be coming leading up to the launch. To get into the beta you can pre-order on all three of the aforementioned platforms.

Stay tuned for our thoughts on the game next month — though since Treyarch generally knows how to make a great Call of Duty title, I’m hopeful.
