Unleash the beast
Please don’t get mad at this contest. Win a Steam key for Fury Unleashed.
A lot can happen in five months. You can lose an arm or become a champion skier or change your name because sometimes bad words aren’t a good thing to use in proper nouns. I’ll let you guess which of those happened to The Badass Hero.
But you can’t keep an awesome-looking game down for long. Back with a new title, a local new co-op mode, and additions to the game to give you more to bite into, Fury Unleashed is ready to take over your PC.
The comic book multiverse has been invaded, and you — once the iconic hero with a knack for saving the day — have been retconned. All of your accomplishments, feats of heroism, and asses kicked have been erased. What’s a hero to do? Easy: Hunt those asses down and re-kick them.
Fury Unleashed puts you into three colorful comic book worlds to reclaim the hero status you once had. Upgrade your character, weapons, and armor using ink collected from your fallen comic foes to ensure that no ass goes un-kicked. Procedurally-generated levels provide random spawns of enemies, upgrades, and traps to keep you on your toes and on the trigger. And with a new local co-op mode you’ll be able to kick some ass with a friend to become the most powerful heroes of all time.
Just make sure you don’t get your ass kicked along the way.
To enter for your chance to win, comment below with your most recent heroic act of unleashing fury. I was at a restaurant with my wife last week and the waiter provided absolutely horrible service. It was maddening! So I very furiously (and passive-aggressively) left a miniscule tip of 18% just to show him who’s boss! I really exorcised some demons with that one.
We have 13 Steam keys up for grabs. Winners will be drawn on Sunday, October 14. Make sure you comment using a Dtoid account with your current email address on file. If I can’t email you, I’m gonna leave your ass an insulting 18% tip, too.
Fury Unleashed is available now on Steam Early Access, with a full launch for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch coming in early 2019. Head over to PC Invasion for more chances to win!
