Ahead of Call of Duty: WWII launching this Friday, a clip has surfaced on reddit that shows how the game handles loot boxes. Rather than just go through a menu, you’ll be able to call in a supply drop while you’re out and about in the Normandy beach social space with other players. It’s all very showy.

Asked if anyone can steal your stuff (now wouldn’t that be something?), uploader cuzseile replied “No but the other guys can see what you get.” And that’s clearly the point. It’s not enough that loot boxes exist in the game, you need to be repeatedly reminded that they’re there. No escape.
