There are new content updates in the works for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its sister-release, Warzone. These updates were originally scheduled to have gone live this morning, but have now been delayed at the last minute for unspecified reasons. According to Infinity Ward, both titles will now be updated “in the coming days.”

The update includes a new map for Modern Warfare multiplayer, Khandor Hideout. Designed for team-based play, the new locale features a dingy interior warehouse, and an outdoor area featuring more waist-high obstacles than you can shake a Molotov at. This map will also support the new 6v6 mode, which sounds like a blast for you and your chums.

Over in Warzone, the battle royale title is getting a selection of weapons from the Modern Warfare arsenal. These include the MK2 Carbine rifle, the 50 GS handgun, the EBR-14 marksman rifle, and finally the controversial 725 Shotgun, which had to be removed from Modern Warfare shortly after launch due to its scoped range and incredible stopping power. Not quite the monster it once was, it still packs a hefty wallop.

Finally, players can pick up a brand new operative, Talon, by spending COD Points. Reeking of “committee-produced cool,” Talon joins the Coalition along with his faithful dog, Indiana, who will make their presence felt during Talon’s finishing moves. Once purchased, Talon can be used in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone are available now on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
