Call of Duty: Black Ops II will support dedicated servers

PC fans, rejoice! Treyarch has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops II will support dedicated servers. I love how, by doing something that’s become pretty standard, Treyarch can make itself look good. That’s always a wonderful position to be in.

The announcement was made by Cesar Stastny on Twitter, in the briefest of ways: “Confirmed: Ranked Dedicated Servers for #BlackOps2.”

I guess that’s all you need to say.

Does this news sweeten the deal for anyone still sour on the game, or are you still convinced this is going to be terrible?
