What could be better than that?
The beautifully animated, low-fi, post-apocalyptic action strategy game C-Wars has less than a week to go in its Kickstarter campaign, and sadly, it’s not looking good for the game’s potential to hit the Wii U or the PS Vita. The 3DS stretch goal is well within reach though, with about $6K to raise in as many days. In fact, the devs are already promising 3DS codes to anyone who pledges $15 or more. My guess is that the 3DS stretch goal is more about gauging interest in the 3DS version and speeding up process of porting it to the handheld. I bet the game will do great with Fire Emblem fans.
If you’ve got a little more cash on hand, you can land yourself a role as an extra in the game. With a pledge of $220 or more you can play the part of an innocuous civilian, and for a few dollars more, you can appear as a zombie, or even a gun toting soldier. Seeing yourself on the 3DS screen alongside characters from Shovel Knight, They Bleed Pixels, and Cryamore sure would be neat.
Theoretically, you could also use this reward on the behalf of others. For just $660, you could have the cast of everyone’s favorite videogame podcast appear in C-Wars… so that you can watch us be eaten by zombies or otherwise murdered. Would you pay over half a thousand dollars for the opportunity to see an untimely end to Jim Sterling, Conrad Zimmerman and/or myself?
Thank You, Nintendo! [C-Wars Kickstarter]
