Borderlands 3 revealed during Randy Pitchford magic show

Amid long-winded setups for magic tricks and counting nearly 50 cards (multiple times), Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford managed to formally reveal Borderlands 3.

The trailer that’s embedded above tells you just about everything you need to know. There are weapons (lots of them), all sorts of loot on the ground, explosive shooting sequences, and inanity. And a sax solo.

Gearbox boasts that there are over a billion guns, some of them with legs. Also, we’ll surely get to know the main characters in due time. They’re important too — arguably moreso than all the guns. One of them makes six blue arms materialize around her, and that seems pretty neat.

There you have it, Borderlands fans. The longstanding crisis of not quite knowing is finally over.
