WARDOGS is now out in early access, and you’ll want to tweak the graphics settings to get the best possible results. While the gameplay appears to be better than what we had in the previous beta, I still needed to make a few tweaks.

In this guide, I will go through all the changes to ensure that you get the best possible output.

Best WARDOGS graphics settings

Here’s a rundown of my personal set of specifications.

  • 32 GB of DDR4 RAM
  • AMD Radeon 9060XT 16 GB
  • AMD Ryzen 7 5700X

I have focused this guide more towards a set of settings that will help underpowered devices more. If you have a high-powered PC that’s close/above the recommended specifications, you won’t need to make many tweaks. Systems that are closer to minimum requirements will have to make additional modifications.

  • Field of View: 95. However, try to increase this as much as you can because there will be plenty of situations when you’ll engage in long-distance shooting.
  • Weapon View Model Scale: 4 is fine, but you can make the weapon smaller to have a better sight at the enemy.
  • First Person FOV — Vehicles: Default
  • Third Person FOV — Vehicles: Default
  • ADS FOV: Affected
  • PIP Scope: Disabled
  • Frame Rate Limit: 90 FPS is ideal but if you encounter a lag, reduce this to 60. If you have a high-powered PC, you can easily try above 90, but don’t go past the limit of your native monitor.
  • VSync: Since this is an FPS title, turning VSync on is the correct choice.
  • Nvidia Reflex: Enabled
  • Anti-Aliasing Method: DLSS/FSR (Prioritize with Performance)
  • Mesh Detail: Medium (Doesn’t affect performance that much)
  • View Distance: Medium
  • Shading: Low
  • Global Illumination: Disabled
  • Shadows: Low
  • Reflections: Low
  • Effects: Medium
  • Particle Spawn Rate: Low
  • Post-Processing: Low
  • Motion Blur: Disabled
  • Depth of Field: Disabled
  • Lens Flare: Disabled
  • Lens Flare: Disabled
  • Bloom: Disabled
  • Textures: Low
  • Character: Low
  • Effects: Low
  • Texture Streaming: Low
  • Texture Filtering: Low

For the last five settings, I have gone for Low on all. However, you can always test them out at Medium and find out whether you’re getting stutters or not. Do remember that getting the smoothest gameplay will significantly raise your and your team’s chances of success.
