Valheim 1.0 has added several Idols that you can find to enhance your endgame builds. Idols are of two types: Battle and Protection, and they have their unique roles. You can use the Forge of Potential with the help of these Idols, and the underlying system is pretty straightforward.

However, the same can’t be said about finding these Idols in the first place.

How to get all Idols in Valheim 1.0

The following table has all the information you’ll need to find the Idols. Do note that there’s an element of RNG as I have yet to find a location that guarantees an Idol of any type. Hence, it’s all about looking at the correct places and get lucky.

Black Marble Protection IdolI found it from the Mistlands Towers, but you can also try your luck at the Charred Fortresses. You can also find it from broken pots in Charred Ruins.
Black Marble Battle IdolChests within Charred Fortresses in the Ashlands biome should be your best shot.
Bronze Protection IdolI found mine from the Troll Caves, and it was within a chest. However, you can also obtain it from ruins and crypts.
Bronze Battle IdolYou can look for this in the same locations that rewards you the Bronze Protection Idol.
Iron Protection IdolLook for this in the crypts, chests, and ruins in the Swamps.
Iron Battle IdolSimilar to the previous variant, you can find it from the Swamp ruins, chests, and graves.
Flametal Protection IdolI found mine in a chest hidden inside a ruined part of the Deep North biome. Hence, the new biome is where you should be looking for.
Flametal Battle IdolThe barrels and ruins in the North Deep biome is your best option.

As of writing, I have yet to find the remaining Idols since it entirely depends on your luck. I will give this guide an update once I have found more of them. If you want to take the easy route, you can simply use console commands and spawn them (this removes the grind and element of luck, but it kills the fun).
