Final Fantasy Resonance offers different Visions for you to equip on your playable characters. You can unlock 20 of them, finding the perfect pairing for each of the game’s eight characters.
Naturally, not every Vision is equally effective with every party member. That’s where you need to get selective about equipping the correct Visions to get the most out of every character.
We’ve ranked the Visions for some characteres in Final Fantasy Resonance below. This guide is a work in progress. We’ll update it as we test more combinations.

We begin our list with Rain, who is easily one of the best attackers in the entire game.
Rain
| Vision | Reason |
|---|---|
| Firion | Triggers Rain’s Break abilities with Limit Burst. |
| Noctis | Rain can get Evasion on his Taunts that makes him immune to damage. |
| Warrior of Light | Allows an alternative playstyle for Rain that makes him more durable without sacrificing his offensive arsenal. |
Fina
| Vision | Reason |
|---|---|
| Leah | Best Vision for healers and amplifies all the healing abilities. |
| Tronn | Lets Fina use her Break-focused moves. |
| Terra | Allows you to build Fina as an aggro character. |
Lasswell
| Vision | Reason |
|---|---|
| Cloud | Lets Lasswell do a lot of damage to solo enemies. |
| Firion | Firion’s final ability allows Lasswell to do multiple attacks in a single turn. |
| Tidus | Deals outstanding damage with Reckless Abandonement. |
Lid
| Vision | Reason |
|---|---|
| Tidus | Perfect for Lid’s physical build. |
| Terra | Perfect for Lid’s magical build. |
| Zidane | While Zidane is pretty useful, his role is different. He utilizes Lid’s buffs and debuffs, so it’s more of a controlled gameplay. |
Nichol
| Vision | Reason |
|---|---|
| Onion Knight | Since Onion Knight allows Nichol to recover HP with the passive, it allows him to survive for a longer time. |
| Terra | Standard choice if you want to play Nichol as a magic-focused character. |
| Tidus | Increases Nichol’s speed and allows him to get priority, leading to quicker attacks. |
We’ll add the best Visions for the three remaining characters once we’ve tested them. Meanwhile, you can check out this tier list to find the best Visions to use in the game.
