QuestAway is now available in 1.0, and there are six different classes to pick from. Each of them perform different roles, and they have their respective strengths and weakness.

In this guide, I will assess all six classes and place them in different tiers.
Complete QuestAway class tier list
I have used three different tiers to rank the six available classes.
- S-tier classes overpowered in the current build.
- A-tier classes will require you to use the proper equipment pieces.
- B-tier classes are underpowered in the current build of the game.
S-tier
- Healer: Being the only healing class in the game, the Healer is important for any party. While I won’t necessarily begin as a Healer, you’ll need to add one. The class not only heals your party members, but it also offers shields to help them survive.
- Mage: While the Mage isn’t the tankiest unit by any means, it makes up for it with insane damage. You have different elemental spells in the form of fire, lightning, ice, and arcane. All four of them do amazing damage as long as you get the proper build. The Mage is perhaps the best non-melee damage option you can have.
A-tier
- Warrior: Mg only issue with the Warrior class is the amount of bleed damage it manages to deal. The damage is not low, but it could have been higher. I have tried going in with different builds, but nothing has worked so far. That said, this is the best build to start with for beginners, as you will get to learn the game without getting into complicated mechanics.
- Assassin: This class does much more damage than Warrior, and the playstyle is also quite different. However, it doesn’t have the life and hit points that the Warrior offers. This class is also harder to master for beginner players, so it gets placed in this tier.
- Engineer: Despite being classed as a ranged character, the Engineer is a very fun class. It’s unlike anything we typically see in this type of game. The Engineer relies entirely on her set of gadgets and different mechanisms to do the bulk of the damage. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get her build done, the Engineer can be a mighty option to have in your party.
B-tier
- Archer: the Archer’s success depends on her build. She is one of the hardest characters to manoeuvre because she has extremely weak defense. You will need to pair her in a party with other classes that can complement and protect her.
