After revealing the next entry in the Battlefield series last week, Electronic Arts and DICE showcased some gameplay from its 128-player battles. It looks like there’s more to watch out for than just some enemy sights.

During today’s E3 Xbox & Bethesda showcase, DICE showed pre-alpha gameplay of Battlefield 2042‘s massive multiplayer combat. Alongside some neat touches like tinkering with gun attachments on the fly and wingsuits, there’s also some giant freakin’ weather tornadoes to really spice things up.

If you’re eager for more, it’s probably worth keeping an eye out for EA’s upcoming event in July. Battlefield 2042 is scheduled for launch on Oct. 22, 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
