Anime Arise Evolution is another Roblox Anime clicker game where you gain power, while the enemies don’t fight back. No matter how many of these we play, we always come back for more, and this time it’s not much different. With that said, Anime Arise Evolution does have a few unique mechanics that you’ll want to know in order to level as effectively as possible. You can learn about all the leveling systems in this Definitive Anime Arise Evolution Leveling Guide.

Before You Start Leveling in Anime Arise Evolution

Before you even start leveling, you need to do the following:
- Use any available codes for Anime Arise Evolution
- Join the Roblox Group
- Turn on Auto Attack for both you and your Units (and never turn it off)
Codes are self-explanatory; use them to get a few extra items to help you out (we recommend you use them later in the game). The only code currently available is “FIX01“.
Next, you should join the Roblox Group “ANIME ANIMA.” The reason you need this is because this is the only way you can get your Shadow Units to attack (yes, we aren’t kidding). This will likely change when the gets out of Alpha, but for now, you’ll need to join the group to get the Shdow Units to attack.
Last but not least, when you start playing the game, turn on Auto Attack for both you and your Units and just leave it like that. Even if you aren’t attacking anything, your Power will still keep increasing, and you don’t even have to click. This is also mandatory if you are planning to play this game while AFK (and you should).
How to Level in Anime Arise Evolution

This only applies to the Alpha version. Things are likely to change as the devs keep working on the game. We’ll update the guide as updates roll out.
Leveling in Anime Arise Evolution means a bunch of different things. Ranking up, getting better weapons, claiming achievements, evolutions, and all of these can be confusing if you don’t know how they work. What you need to do is just progress through the levels, fight stronger (tankier) enemies, and keep increasing in power. You can do this however you want, but if you want to be as efficient as possible, you should follow this order. Here’s how you should look at each of these mechanics, in order from left to right:
Equip Better Weapons > Claim Achievements > > Unlock New Levels > Spend extra Souls on Shadows >Rank UP > Summon new Shadows > Check Evolutions
We’ll examine each of these systems individually and explain why we implemented them.
Equipping Better Weapons

Whenever you obtain a better weapon, stop what you’re doing and equip it. Weapons won’t give you more damage, but they will help you earn more Souls, which you absolutely need. No matter how much you rank up or evolve, you’ll always keep your weapons, so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t use the best one.
Claim Achievement Rewards
When you get a prompt that you’ve claimed a new Achievement, again, drop whatever you are doing, go back to the Sacred Forest, and claim the reward. Achievements give you multipliers to your overall power level, and they last no matter how much you Rank Up or Evolve. Again, just like with the Weapons, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t want to claim any achievement you get ASAP.
Unlock New Levels

Currently, the main use for Souls is unlocking new levels. You’re going to need a lot of Souls to unlock new levels. The reason why you need to do this before Ranking Up is that you’ll lose all your Souls when you do. So spend those Souls to unlock new levels and only then Rank Up. As a general Rule of thumb, you usually Rank Up once and then unlock a new level, until you get near the end of the game.
Spend Extra Souls Before Ranking Up

If you don’t have enough Souls to unlock a new level, but still have a good amount, you can spend them to summon extra Shadow Units. We’ll talk about them a bit later, but for now, just use the extra Souls to get more Units. It’s better than throwing the souls away.
Rank Up

When you rank up, your power resets to 0, but your multiplier for gaining power doubles. While this can sound scary, you’ll rank up back to where you were in no time. As you probably know by now, when you do this, you’ll lose all your Souls, so make sure you spend them before you increase your power.
Summon New Shadows

This is probably going to change, but as of now, Shadows are pretty much useless in Anime Arise Evolution. For the most part, they can nibble at the enemies health while you do the majority of damage. Because of this, you should only Summon New Shadows before you Rank Up or after you enter a new Level and you feel like you are underpowered (but even that won’t help you much). We’ll just have to wait for an update before Shadows become valuable allies.
Check Evolutions

You can almost completely ignore your Evolutions and just let them happen naturally. However, every now and then, you’ll evolve into a Unit who actually has a lower power than the unit you previously were. In such cases, you should switch back to your old evolutions. This has happened to us only once but even if we didn’t notice this, it really wouldn’t have mattered. Evolutions are just a natural part of growing stronger, so just let them happen.
That’s all there is to it. Have fun leveling up in Anime Arise Evolution. If you’re looking for a similar experience where enemies actually fight back, check out Anime Saga.
