Anime Saga is out, and it’s time to take our favorite anime heroes for a spin through the same dungeons over and over again. Of course, while going through dungeons is fun and all, it can get pretty grindy and difficult without the right Units, which is exactly why we wrote this guide. Find out which are the best units in the game in this definitive Anime Saga Unit Tier List.

While doing more damage is great, the thing that really sets apart Anime Saga Units is their efficiency. More specifically, the efficiency of quickly clearing a room of units. Since we really love clearing rooms as fast as possible, we also considered this a factor when it comes to placing units in their tiers.

Pro-tip: We’re just ranking units here, if you want their full stats and moves check them out on our Anime Saga Wiki.

SS-Tier Units

UnitInfo

Zid
The most powerful unit in the game currently.
His Aoe is through the roof, and he’s good in almost any situation.
If you get him, you’re set until a new update drops.

Chainsaw
An absolute boss-melter. Not great for clearing,
but put Chainsaw in front of a boss and watch it burn.

Okorun
Okarun is one of the easiest and most powerful characters to play as.
Most of his attacks are melee but it can clear rooms easily.
Great at taking down bosses.

Frierin
Frierin has a shield, that’s situational and two spells that do amazing damage.
The third spell, inparticular can just melt bosses health, if you aim it correctly.

S-Tier Units

UnitInfo

Rohan
Super quick attacks, and super powerful too.
Amazing unit for clearing rooms and good for bosses too.

Remu
One of the best, and cutest, units for clearing rooms.
Also great for dishing out damage to bosses.

Doma
Doma is powerful but we found him weird to control.
Much better after you evolve him.

Zoru
So powerful, some of his moves hit twice.
Really great for clearing strong units and bosses.

Inos
Really powerful, but the cooldowns are a bit long.
Still, Inos is a very powerful unit, despite this.

A-Tier Units

UnitInfo

Mochi
Another really good crowd control unit with decent damage.
Unfortunately, we replaced Mochi when we got some Mythical units.

Vogita
Out of all the units that can hit air targets, Vogita is the easiest to get.
Not only this, but he is still a very powerful unit, especially duringthe early game.

Sake
We like Sake so much, we used him more than we should.
His moves are really handy for dealing damage and clearing rooms.
Unfortunately, we had to let him go when we got some Mythic units.

Agony
Really good for gathering enemies at one place,
and then switching to a stronger unit to blast them all.
Not very powerful for a Legendary unit.

B-Tier Units

UnitInfo

Nezu
A lot of fun to play as.
Her attacks hit far, and her scratching attacks can clear groups of enemies fast.

Sanjo
Sanjo is great for clearing rooms of regular units,
but falls a bit short when it comes to overall damage.
Good to have until you have better

Ichigan
Widely considered as the best Rare unit.
Ichigan has a few really powerful moves that rival even Epic units.
Great for taking down bosses.

C-Tier Units

UnitInfo

Itaduro
Kind of slow, but has a really great attack that can melt bosses.
If you’re playing in a group with friends who have a lot of fast units,
put Itaduro on the side and wait for the boss fight.

Usoap
Somewhat decent attacks, but the basic attack can only target one unit.
Really not that great, especially for an Epic unit.

Tanjigo
A decent unit to use while you work on getting better units.
One of the few units that becomes invincible during an attack.

D-Tier Units

UnitInfo

Roku
Out of all the starting units, Roku is probably the best, because of his attacks, but still,
try to replace him for a better unit as soon as you can.

Noroto
The two Rasengan attacks look cool, but Noroto’s range is short, and it only hits one unit.
Okay for clearing starting bosses, but should be replaced ASAP.

Luffo
Luffo is slow, and his attacks are just weak.
We only tried him once and quickly replaced him.

That’s all there is to it. Have fun making your dream team with our Anime Saga unit tier list. If you haven’t already, check out our Anime Saga codes for some free rerolls and other in-game currency.
