The Kindlers of the Flame quest is all about rebuilding Wishvale into the thriving town it once was. A large part of making your town self-sustaining is growing crops so you can harvest your own vegetables. But to do that, you need to find seeds.
Like ranch animals, seeds in Octopath Traveler 0 can be found all around Orsterra. They’re typically sold by residents of various villages, but tracking them all down can be tricky if you don’t know where to look. We’ve put together a list of all the seeds you can plant back at the fields in Wishvale so you can have enough ingredients for all the recipes you’re planning to cook up next.

How to plant seeds in Octopath Traveler 0
If you haven’t yet completed chapter two of the Kindlers of the Flame questline and added Basil to Wishvale, you won’t be able to plant any seeds. Once you have, though, all you need to do is speak to him, choose “Cultivate,” and then select the seed bed you’d like to plant seeds in. You can plant more than one of a seed at a time to get multiples of one type of veggie. After you’ve planted your seeds, speak to Basil again to see their progress.
To start, you’ll only have two seed beds. You can spend Radiant Cornerstones, which you get from defeating Elite Enemies around Orsterra, to upgrade the Fields to four and eventually six seedbeds. Crops grow as you battle, so if you want to speed up their growth, run around in between towns to fight monsters.
