Don't forget to process them!

Crafting is an elaborate task in Dune Awakening, and you’ll come across plenty of raw materials in the world of Arrakis.

These raw materials are spread all over the desert. Some are available as nodes you need to break down. Others might be available at specific places like ruins or Scavenger camps. Knowing all the raw materials will aid your crafting goals (for starters, you’ll learn about all the materials and their uses). We’ll provide the required information and help you master crafting in Dune Awakening.

Complete list of raw materials in Dune Awakening

I’ve broken down the information in a table format to make matters easier to understand. Most of the materials are available all over the world in Hagga Basin, but some spawn more commonly than the remaining ones in the desert world of Dune Awakening.

MaterialUses
Agave SeedsThese seeds can be found in the Arrakkeen Agave fruit, and it has different uses in plenty of recipes. You can usually find the fruits among vegetations, and they’re fairly common.
Aluminum OreYou can obtain this resource from Aluminum Deposits with the help of a Cutter. You can then convert raw Aluminum into Aluminum Ingots that are then used at the Fabricator to make new stuff.
Basalt StoneBetter construction material than Granite. Has to be refined first before you can use them in constructions.
CarbonSimilar to Aluminum, can be obtained from Carbon deposits. You can then process it with Iron Ingots that makes Steel Ingots. Steel Ingots is a specialized item required in advanced recipes, and you can make them at any Ore Refinery.
CopperCopper Ore is mined from Copper deposit, and then turned into Copper Ingots. These Ingots can be then used in the Fabricator to produce different items.
Erythrite CrystalTo find Erythrite deposits, you’ll need to visit the Hagga Rift. You can then put the crystals into a Chemical Refinery to convert it to Cobalt Paste. Cobalt Paste is used to create different items like the Ornithopter.
Flour SandThis item is only found at the flour sand drifts, mostly in the Vermilius Gap. You can obtain it with Static Compactor, and then turn them into Silicone Blocks using a Chemical Refinery.
Fuel CellFuel Cells are easy to find, and they are frequently located at Scavenger Camps. Fuel Cells power up your bases, but you can also turn it into Vehicle Fuel Cells by using a Chemical Refinery.
GraniteGranite is farmed from Granite Ores, but they can also found in isolated structures on the sand. It’s the first type of construction material you’ll come across in the game.
Iron OreYou can turn it into Iron Ingots by using an Ore Refinery. Together with Carbon Ingots, you can make Steel Ingots.
Plant FiberPlant Fibers are usually obtained from vegetation that grows on land, and they’re useful for creating certain types of clothes.
Salvaged MetalThis item is frequently found at Scavenger Camps, but you’ll need the Cutter.

One thing is common about all raw resources: they can’t be used directly. Most of them, as mentioned above, require the use of a Refinery, which has to be researched before crafting it at your base. You’ll be able to research more blueprints as you complete more objectives (both main and contracts).
