The Outpost, added to ARC Raiders as part of the Frozen Trail update, serves an important role in the endgame. It’s not only a safe haven for you to build, but the upgrades are necessary if you want to unlock weapon amplifications.

How to find all Outpost upgrade materials in ARC Raiders
First, you’ll need to unlock the Outpost, and you can use this guide. There are three different steps to complete setting it up and running. Once done, we can then start to gradually work towards getting the necessary materials for the three remaining levels.

| Level 2 | 3 Steel Cable: The only locations where I have found the Steel Cable are the Railyard and the Fallen Emperor (inside). I have only found it as loose loot, and didn’t ever find it in a container. 20 Sheet Metal: You can find them all around Pendola Pass, but they always seem to spawn as loose loot. 3 Cable Strippers: You can find them from zones marked as Industrial and Mechanical. |
| Level 3 | 3 Epoxy Buckets: Look in the dilapidated train cars spread around Pendola Pass. 35 Planks: Found all over Pendola Pass. 3 Hand Drills: You can find them from zones marked as Industrial and Mechanical. |
| Level 4 | 40 Sheet Metal 3 Laser Levels: Spread randomly on Pendola Pass’ high tier loot areas. 3 Insulation Rolls: Spread randomly on Pendola Pass’ high tier loot areas. |
Once you get the Outpost all the way up to Level 4, you’ll be able to upgrade the Gunsmith to Level 4. This is essential to unlock weapon amplification.
