Most of the Droids you can unlock in Droid Tycoon are generic, but there’s also an exclusive collection of elite Droids available to collect in Fortnite. These are the Iconic Droids, the best of the best, with the most powerful abilities you can get.
Since these Droids are much more advanced than the rest, the process for acquiring them looks a bit different from what you’re used to. You’ll want to try your best to obtain them all and make use of their powerful skills, so here are all the Iconic Droids and what they do in Fortnite Droid Tycoon.

List of all Iconic Droids in Fortnite Droid Tycoon
As of the time of writing, there are nine Iconic Droids you can unlock in Droid Tycoon. The number of available Iconic Droids has consistently grown over time and will continue to do so as new events roll out, so we’ll add to this list as they do.

How to get Iconic Droids in Fortnite Droid Tycoon
The main method for unlocking Iconic Droids is by participating in special limited-time events. All Iconic Droids are initially available by completing some key objectives in these special occurrences. There are a few ways to obtain these powerful Droids, though, so here’s a breakdown of all methods.
- Unlock them by participating in special events. There’s almost always an event running from Saturday to Sunday in Droid Tycoon, and these events are commonly focused on an Iconic Droid. If you complete the main objective in the event, you get to unlock the Iconic Droid featured in it. You can check the circular pad to the right of the Cantina to see what the next event is and when it will occur.
- Purchase them using Nova Crystals. If you missed out on an Iconic Droid’s event, you’ll have to spend Nova Crystals to add them to your collection. You can do so by visiting the Nova Shop behind the Cantina, selecting the Iconic Droids tab, and paying the required amount of Nova Crystals to unlock them. Some Iconic Droids are cheaper than others, so prepare to spend anywhere from 30 to 75 Nova Crystals depending on which one you’re trying to unlock. Here’s how much each one costs.
- BB-8 – 30 Nova Crystals
- Mister Bones – 30 Nova Crystals
- IG-11 Marshal – 30 Nova Crystals
- DJ-R3X – 30 Nova Crystals
- CB-23 – 75 Nova Crystals

- Reclaim them after Super Rebirthing. If you Super Rebirth, you lose all your Droids, including the Iconic ones. Luckily, there’s a special shop you can visit to get them back, so you don’t ever have to worry about permanently losing access to them. Head back behind the Cantina to find the Reclaim Iconic Droids Shop, where you can get back any Iconic Droids you previously obtained.
