During its first quarter calendar 2014 financial results call, Activision announced that the beta for Bungie’s sci-fi shooter Destiny will happen this July. Previously, the beta was scheduled for “summer,” so maybe at E3 next month we’ll have an exact date to go on.
The publisher also said that Destiny is tracking to have a record-breaking number of pre-orders for a new intellectual property, based on internal estimates. Gotta spend money to make money.
