Activision CAN guarantee Call of Duty Elite on PC

Recommended Videos

Yesterday, Activision disappointed at least two Destructoid readers by claiming that Call of Duty Elite wasn’t guaranteed on PC. Today, the company has retracted the sentiment and pledged Elite support for computers in future.

“We misspoke. Our goal has always been to provide a free PC offering for Elite,” said the company on its Twitter account. “Stay tuned for an update as timing is still being determined.”

So there you go. I am sure you’re all relieved.

It’s hardly surprising Elite‘s taking so long to come to computers. With the service struggling to keep up with the strain of current members, widening the registrations would probably be a bad idea. Seriously, this thing is as popular as handjobs.
