Activision has officially announced GoldenEye 007: Reloaded for PS3 and Xbox 360. It will take the Wii remake of the classic N64 Game, run it through a brand new engine to deliver HD visuals, and support the PlayStation Move controller.

The remake will include a new gameplay mode, “Mi6 Ops Missions.” These challenge levels are distinct from the campaign and provide players with a series of Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defence objectives.

Naturally, multiplayer will be a big part of the experience, with 16-player online matches and a whole batch of new weapons, maps, modes and characters. Don’t worry — the classic four-player split-screen mode will be included for old schoolers!

It’s scheduled for Fall 2011. You can get a first glimpse of it on the official site.
