A Plague Tale: Requiem will see the wretched rats return in 2022

During today’s Microsoft and Bethesda presentation, Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studios announced a sequel to their grim third-person adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence. A Plague Tale: Requiem is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5, with a 2022 release window. A cloud-based Nintendo Switch version is also in the works.

A teaser trailer shows that Paris remains under siege from both The Inquisition and a terrifying army of ravenous rodents, gnawing their way through everything — and everyone — in their path. While returning protagonists Amica and Hugo de Rune seem a touch more mature, their previous exodus has most certainly taken its toll on them, mentally and physically, and the orphaned siblings remain far and away from safe hands.

With A Plague Tale sequel, that’s pretty much my E3 made.
