Counter-Strike: GO trailer, mouse support for PS3 version

Recommended Videos

The trailer for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has a few expected bullet points: new visuals, more maps and weapons, support for ranked matchmaking, and … cross-platform play? Huh? Won’t that be laughably unbalanced?

The PlayStation 3 version of the game will allow you to not only use a standard gamepad, but PlayStation Move and a mouse and keyboard as well. As a result, PS3, Mac, and PC players will be lumped together in matchmaking, sorted by skill level. You’ll have to sit this one out, Xbox 360 owners.

Can’t say I ever got truly into Counter-Strike much, but perhaps GO will be convince me to join the masses. There’s got to be someone worse at the game than I am. Right?
