After more than twelve years and endless jokes about its vaporware status, Duke Nukem Forever has gone gold today. That means development is over. It’s finished. Duke Nukem Forever is ready to launch on June 14, 2011. 

Drink it in. 

Members of the “First Access Club” will get their grubby mitts on a pre-release demo on June 3. You can join the club by pre-ordering the game or buying the Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition. Otherwise, you can just sit back and wait for the release date. 

Now, let’s see just what can happen between now and then to stop this game from happening.
