Rumor: PSP2 revealed on January 27

According to the omnipresent ANONYMOUS SOURCE, Sony is set to officially unveil the PlayStation Portable successor console on January 27. The long-rumored, practically-confirmed, might-as-well-not-be-kept secret PSP2 has been a long time coming, and it would seem we’re finally getting to see it soon.

According to various sources, a press event in Tokyo will see the PSP2. The timing seems to deliberately coincide with a Nintendo press event on January 19, which indicates Sony is planning to take the wind out of the 3DS’ sails.

So, I guess we’ll have to check back later this month to see just how true it all is.
