Walmart thinks it’s going to be selling a MAG sequel

According a Walmart.com listing, the big box retailer is willing and ready to take you cash for the sequel to Zipper Interactive’s ambitious PlayStation 3 shooter, MAG.

A listing has popped up online for MAG 2, with no release date or real information beyond the size of the game’s box and its weight. Very useful. Of course, Sony has yet to announce the sequel, but had recently revealed that the original game would be getting PlayStation Move support. Zipper is known to be currently working on the upcoming SOCOM 4.

Sony has suggested that it would be revealing more games before the year’s end, including a handful of exclusives. One can guess that a few of those may pop up at Tokyo Game Show next week, but Japan seems like a pretty odd place to reveal a primarily online first-person military shooter.
