Nvidia rocks a DirectX11 graphics card for under $200

Hello, sensible pricing! Nvidia has finally revealed a DirectX11 graphics card that you won’t need a second mortgage for. The GeForce GTX 460 costs $199, allowing you to keep up to speed on the computer game front for a price that almost approaches reasonable.

The GTX 460 promises “monster tessellation performance” and has received some pretty positive criticism. It’ll ship in two versions: 768MB for $199, or a 1GB for $229. You can get the cheaper one from today, although you’ll have to wait for an as-yet-to-be-released date for the pricier alternative.

Expensive graphics cards can sod off, by the way.
