What is the best Syndicate to focus on in Warframe?

Decisions, decisions.

Syndicates are a surprisingly large part of Warframe. They don’t mean much early on, but they’re a particularly great source of various augment mods for frames and certain weapons meant for Mastery. With six different Syndicates to choose from, it can be tough to decide which one to put effort into. Here are the six Syndicates in Warframe and who is the best one to farm standing with.

The Syndicate you choose depends heavily on what it offers, who supports that Syndicate, and which Syndicates are enemies of that Syndicate. Each Syndicate will have one Allied, one Opposed, and one Enemy to reflect this. All Syndicates, and their standings with each other, can be found below:

It’s worth noting that any Syndicate not listed for a particular Syndicate gains and loses no Rep when doing work for them. For example, Steel Meridian is completely neutral with the Arbiters of Hexis and Cephalon Suda. As such, you can generally focus on three Syndicates and be fine.

Each Syndicate also offers a range of augment mods for specific frames that other Syndicates don’t. For example, you should align with Red Veil and focus on augment mods for frames like Khora, Mesa, Nekros, and Saryn.

It comes down to planning at the end of the day. There are a plethora of cosmetics and ways to represent your Syndicate in Warframe, but one of the more important aspects would be the frames you play that have augments in their wares.

While that is proven to be true if you’re not a hardcore player like the MR 30s and up, here’s something that can benefit you more than just some Warframe augment mods.

The best Syndicate to focus on in Warframe

The best Syndicate to focus on in Warframe is a tie between The Perrin Sequence and New Loka. Luckily enough, they are also aligned, so you’re going to benefit from siding with either at the end of the day.

I (Elliott) am a Mastery Rank 34 player in this game. I also decided to side with the most popular faction– the Steel Meridian. That means I’m also aligned with the Red Veil, but that also means that my wares are significantly cheaper when trading with other players in the game.

The Rakta and Vaykor weapons are not as high in demand since more players have access to these. They also aren’t that high up in the current meta of the game. They also aren’t that high up in the current meta of the game, bringing their overall Platinum prices down.

As for New Loka’s or Perrin Sequence; sure, they are seen as the more “lame” factions, but their wares are in much higher demand due to fewer players being aligned with them. Their weapons are also some of the stronger ones among all the other Syndicates.

Looking at the unofficial Warframe market prices between the Vaykor Hek (the primary weapon from Steel Meridian) and the Secura Penta (from The Perrin Sequence), the Vaykor Hek averages between 20 to 30 Platinum per trade while the Secura Penta averages between 30 to 40 Platinum.

While the prices may seem negligible, you’re still going to be making more Platinum in the long run being a supplier of tradeable weapons from our personal picks of the best Syndicates versus those that are seen to be more popular overall.

The Syndicates aren’t too popular in terms of theme, but their wares are the best. Think economically here.

Looking at this from a free-to-play and long-run perspective, you’ll get the most bang for your buck by being in New Loka or The Perrin Sequence. However, this is only a recommendation. If you truly want to represent a faction based on previous things like Warframe augments, cool factor, or theme, go right ahead.
