NGS 2 Collector’s Edition has a book

Special editions. They aren’t so special anymore. They come with every major release these days and someone buys them and then life goes on, and despite all that modern special editions come with they’ll never be as cool as a golden cartridge and everyone knows it. And now that I have basically insulted the product, I’d like to introduce you to Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2‘s Collector’s Edition. It’s got stuff, maybe you want it.

This little bundle will be exclusive to GameStop and will set you back $69.99. Paying an extra ten dollars will net you a A 30-page Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 prologue comic written and designed by Team NINJA, a mini-strategy guide covering most of the basics of the game, an art gallery and commentary from Team NINJA producer Yosuke Hayashi and the team’s lead artists (most of which we already knew). This will all be contained in one 80 page book it appears. In short you get a book, and if you pre-order you get an exclusive downloadable costume. It should be noted that the art above that Namco Bandai sent us is not the same art that GameStop is showing on their page, and that the small text on the image above says that the final product may look different. Your call on who to trust.
