 Scraps

What a great weekend this has been. Not a whole lot on the news front, but I suspect that nobody wanted to have to fight for attention from the blogosphere while SingSterling was going on. I kept it on all day and it was one of the more entertaining webcasts I think I’ve ever seen.

Extra Life seemed to make out pretty well, raising over $100,000 for children’s cancer research. That should make everyone involved feel pretty good.

Here’s what we didn’t write about this weekend because we were too busy swooning over the vocal stylings of Sterling:

  • Sony Europe believes that digital distribution on the PSP will encourage developers to produce more titles for the handheld. [GamesIndustry
  • Suda 51 says that No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle will have a better open-world design and more serious plot. [Eurogamer]
  • Left 4 Dead‘s lead designer explains why more games don’t have split-screen and why it was so important for L4D. [MTV Multiplayer]
  • Aaron Greenburg is claiming holiday sales victory for the 360 a little early, methinks. But the price advantage will surely help. [Kotaku]
